Some emotions are too deep for conversation. They dwell in the silence of our soul, waiting to be seen without words. At Resonating Innocence with Monika Bhardwaj, guided creative therapy helps you find a safe, intuitive space to explore what’s unspoken, release what’s stuck, and reconnect with yourself.
Curious if this is what you’ve been needing? Let’s talk.
Expressive arts therapy is a gentle, creative approach to healing that invites you to explore what words alone can’t always reach. Through art, movement, writing, sound, or play, you access parts of yourself that may feel stuck, unseen, or hard to express.
You don’t need to be an artist or create something beautiful. This process is all about following what feels true in the moment, allowing creativity to become a safe, intuitive, and pressure-free language for your emotions.
My approach provides projective assessment and healing therapies through language of art, we gently access the emotions, stories, and parts of you that words alone can’t reach.
Whether you’re a teen navigating big emotions, an adult carrying quiet wounds, or someone simply longing to be seen and heard, expressive art therapy offers a way back to your authentic self beyond the noise, beyond the pressure, beyond words.
Through a blend of creative expressions, shapes, colors, and movement, let’s:
Each session creates a rhythm of expression and reflection through four creative phases.
We begin with guided prompts or art-based practices designed to surface patterns, emotional blocks, or unspoken feelings.
We will suggest prompts to draw, just free expression.
If you feel ready, we’ll take time to gently reflect on what emerged. No pressure to interpret or explain; just noticing and being.
We close with grounding tools, like breathwork, journaling, or gentle body-based practices, to help you carry the insight and emotional shifts into your daily life.
Research shows that expressive art therapy positively impacts mental health, supporting both personal growth and the treatment of conditions like anxiety and depression. Activities such as drawing, painting, and writing support emotional catharsis and self-exploration, allowing individuals to express themselves more openly.
It’s also linked to higher self-esteem, improved well-being, greater resilience, and better stress management, proving especially effective during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic.
Expressive art therapy is for anyone who senses something inside them that words can’t quite touch.

For adults who feel too much but say too little, expressive art is a way home to yourself. It’s for you if you are: |
You don’t need the right words. You just need a place to feel, to release, and to begin again.
Not at all. Expressive arts therapy isn’t about making “good” art. It helps express your inner world in a way that feels honest and safe. Stick figures, scribbles, textures, color blocks… all are welcome. The process matters far more than the product.
Expressive art therapy is non-verbal and intuitive. Rather than analyzing or explaining your emotions, you’re invited to feel and release them through color, and creativity. It’s often gentler, especially for those who feel overwhelmed by words or talking.
Yes. Art is the language of your subconscious. This process doesn’t require you to explain everything. Just show up and let your emotions move through art.
Sessions are available both online and in person. If we’re meeting online, I’ll guide you through using simple materials you likely already have at home.
After your complimentary discovery call, we’ll discuss what feels right for you and co-create a rhythm that meets your needs.
