Resonating Innocence with Monika Bhardwaj
I believe that behind every confident child is an adult, who choose to see their light. My work is dedicated to children, parents and caretakers who work besides them.
My learning path spans more than two decades, exploring the depths of human experience. While working in the communications industry, I felt a persistent pull toward supporting children and young adults. In the late 2000s, I finally committed to volunteering in activities focused on children’s life skills and mental health. This work allowed me to connect with my own inner child while supporting others in their growth.
While working with children, I witnessed their inner innocence being shadowed by external noise, especially in today’s age of technological advancements and harsh realities of life. They experience various challenging situations without even noticing the changes that were unconsciously weaving through their lives. Although all these innocent young ones faced different circumstances, they shared the same fractured emotions: confusion, shock, despair, helplessness, stress, anxiety, and more.”
With a natural deep interest in studying human behaviour and anthropology, I am a lifelong learner of ancient and modern wisdom, exploring diverse cultures and civilizations. My formal qualifications include diploma in cognitive hypnotic psychotherapy, therapeutic expressive arts, and trauma-informed coaching, along with integrated healing therapies and a master’s degree in counselling psychology.
I now work as a Certified Coach in Emotional Spiritual Intelligence and well-being, supporting teenagers and parents. I believe working in coordination with parents is of utmost importance. This approach opens doors to self-healing through introspection and learning new ways of parenting. My work focuses on helping families shed conditioning patterns and establish prosperous, thriving relationships with themselves and their children. Through this process, we strengthen family harmony and create lasting positive change.
I hold a vision to empower teenagers and parents to always stay connected to their innocence, as it is the place where all wisdom lies to navigate life in an informed way. Research, scientific data, and studies show that children as young as eight years of age have displayed signs of depression, stress, worthlessness, and overwhelm from parental expectations and conditioned parenting patterns. There is a greater need than ever to make social emotional learning part of education and everyday learning from a very young age.
To capture the heart of these thoughts, I would like to close with a quote from Jiddu Krishnamurti.”
“EDUCATION CONSISTS IN UNDERSTANDING THE CHILD AS THEY ARE, WITHOUT IMPOSING ON THEM THE IMAGE OF WHAT WE THINK THEY SHOULD BE”
