Vulnerabilities of our existence are navigating our lives in an automatic, mechanical way, driving our behaviors and beliefs. Dark emotions are a part of us. How would we know happiness if we don’t experience sadness? How do we know courage if we don’t move through fear? It is all part of us. Still, we choose to hide them beneath layer upon layer. Can we just cut and hide your arm if it is hurt? No, we won’t; we will heal it, as it is our part, and we are one with it. So, what happens if we hide fragments of ourselves? Those fragments are asking for your attention, compassion, and care; if left unattended, they become toxic and the toxicity is expressed through the body, through the mind.
Let us attend to our anger before it becomes rage. Let us attend to our resentments, to all the emotions which express themselves as anxiety, depression, and so on. We are a beautiful creation and have a reason to be here, so why live in fragments?
